Hi, Many of software developer companies use the service of Regnow to receive money for their programs from customers. Few of us know that it has great automated affiliate programs management control panel. Sign at RegNow as affiliate and you'll be able to get up to 50% of commissions for almost every software product that sells through it. There are thousands of them.
Of course they have 1000's of programs, they are buying out most of the players in the shareware affiliate industry. Any affiliates out there thinking of using them just be careful when promoting a vendor's trial programs. A sizeable number of them do not use RegNow as their payment provider so any trial downloads you provide for the vendors will never result in a commission if they eventually purchase the program. It's a good program if you can pick out the vendors that choose to follow the program and avoid the many that don't.
I'm a shareware developer and have a RegNow account as an author. Some of my programs were sold via big download sites like download.com, shareup.com But I also have a downloads website and lot of shareware listed. All audio-video related (www.audiotopnet.com). And of course most of listings afiliates with RegNow. Up today I didin't get even $1 from comission. Only from Share-It afiliate program few $. I think it's a game for really big download services and it's not so easy to compare. But you can always try...
This is also Digital River's OneNetwork affiliate program at http://affiliates.digitalriver.com/. They are one of my client's clients. I think more energy is going into the new network now than to the old RegNow. I know lots of the managers at OneNetwork and they are a great bunch of folks. Try it out and see if it works better for you.
There is a forum on Digital River where you can actually talk with other webmasters in this industry. There is some good information in that forum.
