register at www.omnis.com. You can pay (without credit card) by paypal balance. It has most of the tool like godaddy. Their support is very good too!
Registerfly does not accept paypal since july 2005. Another decent registrars that accept paypal are Domainsite.com and Dynadot.com which is one of the fews accepting MoneyBookers as well. What I hate of Godaddy service is that ridiculous $X.XX price (plus Icann Fee), they should use final prices because that way mislead many people.
Does anybody know why this was? It really annoyed me to not be able to pay by paypal I found it so much faster.
From my own experience, on July 2005 they stopped receiving paypal so when I asked why so the replied it was just because they were in the process of a multimillionaire development to integrate paypal with advanced features two weeks away. The same like you theoverpass, I believe paypal is much, much faster than any other payment method so I insisted after those two weeks and they say it will take longer but I could request a manual paypal link to process pending renewals for those days. Support sent the links for the amount of the renewasl applying the payment immediately and saying by early August everything will return to normal but having the new paypal processing interface. August arrived and due the boom of SEO related domains I wanted to purchase several but not paypal facility. They suggested me request a credit line linked to paypal and when the integration process was accomplished they will get back the money credited to my Quick Cash Account. More domains, more renewals, September, October, November and nothing, so finally I received an email requesting the payment of all pending moneys credited to my account from August to November, but through any other method because paypal had been discontinued. And that was the story with no further explanations why this was :/
Is namecheap accepts unverified paypal accounts? btw. I just bought a domain .www.techtalkz.com from domainsite. They accepted my unverified paypal account and chares me $ 7.99/ year. But the name servers not resolved yet. Just showing some parked page. Hope they're not scammers..
I have several domains registered at DomainSite. They are not scammers but some problems with their interface may cause the delay. Usually nameservers propagate thoughout the internet within the following 72 hours after change them. however if the problem remains you should have to modify the A records adding in that area the IP of your hosting provider. Happened to me with one dot.name domain not responding just with the name servers, and adviced to do it that way by DomainSite support area.
Great.. It takes abour 72 hours to propagate to my new domain www.techtalkz.com . Now it's working fine.. Thanks buddies..
My vote for namecheap. They are super FAST! compare to godaddy. Godaddy server response to my request too slowly.. but namecheap is great. Fast response (Y).
