I have been using Godaddy for years. I recently registered a bunch with netfirms because of a first year teaser rate and free privacy. I have a bunch of domains coming due and I was just shopping around and I found the following: Godaddy - $8.95 domains $6.95 privacy Namecheap - $8.88 domains $2.88 privacy Dynadot - $7.99 domains $2.00 privacy Am I missing something? I have read about some troubling things about Godaddy and in shopping around I have found they are not even that great a deal. I have never used the other two services. Are all things equal?
namecheap would give you free whoisguard with domain registration (so reduce 2.88) and by using discount coupon you can get domain name for $8. so it's $8 for domain+privacy on namecheap. I am currently using namecheap with no problem, that's why I don't bother paying little extra to them. Goodluck
That depends on what exactly you're looking for and how much you expect. One similar thing among them is they'll provide the actual information if they receive a court order or a UDRP notice.
YIKES! I am just trying not to get spam and junk mail. I don't have anything to hide on my sites. Just want reliable as cheap as possible.
Every new domain registration except offering free one whoisguard.. Read here http://www.namecheap.com/learn/privacy-protection/free-whoisguard-promo.asp But if you register .US domain the whoisguard can't be use..
Got my first namecheap domain. Looks like I will be transferring my domains there. Green for everyone!
I've stopped using godaddy and started using 1&1 as some of their domains are cheaper, i prefer the control panel, and i belive private registration doesnt cost anything more and is just a box you tick or not in the c/p
