    Hello

Im completely new to google adwords and Im little confused about registration. I intend to try affiliate program. But when you try to register your payment method you need to give them informations about company, which I dont have.. so what should I do? Is it even possible for me to become affiliate marketer if I dont have a company? any advice or help would be very helpful.

    Thanx in advance =)

It was a long time ago since i applied, i don't recall filling out a company name.

Is the company name field marked as *required?

If it is, then make up a company name like ... Major Marketing etc or whatever you like.

If you are new to adwords then you need to prepare for each campaign you setup, its not as simple as slapping up a landing page and hoping it will convert.

If you need any help then drop me a PM and if i have time i will see if i can help.

Thank you very much for your kindness and quick reply =) well if you leave empty space is says that you must fill it out =) I tried to write none but im not sure If they would like that hehe. So I just made it up? Will be that fine?

I've watched quite few instruction videos on how to make money online through affiliate marketing. I dont expect making a lot of money instantly but any money will be good for my motivation =) small steps at the time and I should achive one big step by doing so hehe ;)

Should I know anything else connected to adwords? their policies are long and complicated and Im not that good in english language =) any short tips on what not to do? I mean if I stick to products that affiliate site is offering ( clickbank ) I shouldn't encounter any problems I believe.

    Have a nice day

Know that chances are your first few campaigns will be failures. Especially if you arnt getting advice and help with them.

A few pointers to assist you:

Keyword research is key. Don't bid on single term or broad keywords, you will have better results with descriptive, specific keywords.

For example, if you are selling Soccer shirts, don't bid on the term "soccer" or even "soccer shirts", instead, if you are selling a specific shirt for a specific team (lets say Real Madrid) then you would be bidding on keywords like "Real Madrid Shirts" and "Authentic Real Madrid Shirts" - The more specific the more likely you are to convert when a user clicks on your ad.

You also need a good ad copy, again a little tip.

Your Title: Needs to attract the users attention
Line #1: Convey the most powerful benifit
Line #2: Logical justification for taking action

So my example for our soccer shirt ad copy would be something like this:

    Genuine Real Madrid Shirts
Save $20 On Real Madrid Shirts.
This Offer Ends In 1 Hour. Buy Now

    ----------

And of course landing page, carrying the example over, that avert would then point to my Real Madrid page, I WOULD NOT HAVE IT POINTING AT MY HOMEPAGE

Landing pages should be efficient in delivering conversions, the less obstacles the better.

    And finally, another important note.

Google's users are very search specific, generally they know exactly what they are looking for, so write your ad copy and aim your keywords towards those preferences.

Obviously these rules must be adapted, and the PPC world is evolving all the time.

A lot of the information i have learned i got from PPC-Coach (see my signature) and there is a lot of help available to new PPC'ers, your welcome to do the trial $1 for 14 days and you get full access.

Anyway, have a great day :)
