Registering with Blog List sites really help in getting good rank ?

    Hi Friends,

    I have seen on so many sites having small buttons in footer for Blogger, BlogBlog, BlogsonTop, TopBlogArea and so many of these type links.

    My question is what is this ? and does it help in ranking High in google or Alexa ?

    Actually I just checked a website mobiclue(dot)com with good Alexa rank and lot of these buttons. Surprisingly there are not so many posts on the site also. Can somebody explain me this ?

    Note: I am a bit confused with this, so if I have mentioned anything wrong, please correct it.
