Agreed. The forms etc. are already drawn up, no need to pay a lawyer to re-invent the wheel. Your accountant SHOULD be able to tell you what suits you best, but obviously if your CPA defers you to a lawyer, listen to him. Each person/company is different depending on what you do, how much you have invested etc.

PS. One other nice thing about a Delaware LLC is the fact that you as owner remain anonymous to public searches. When you search for Delaware LLC's on the state's Division of Corporations website you can only see who the registered agent is. That comes in handy if you don't people knowing what you are doing. Not that you're doing something wrong, but personally I just like to keep my business and personal life seperate. Nothing more annoying to me than when people want to know in detail what I do for a living. Being involved in IT, that could end up being an hour long conversation! :)

The best thing to do is do some research on what you think is best, you can also do a fictitious name too and I would probably recommend doing a Nevada company, just a regular S Corporation. If you need someone to prepare that paperwork for you I have a company that does that. I form corporations. My difference between other online forming companies is that they charge you for every little thing, like getting an ID# and the S Election etc. I charge one price for everything. Let me know if your interested.
