    Hello Guys,
I want to know will it be of any use if I register long-tailed keyword domain names (exact matches) with substantial amount of searches of Google keyword tool eg: Best Hair Colors and build a website around it i.e. besthaircolors.com, will I be ranked on first page for the keyword and get the traffic?

Yes, there are much fair chances to get top rankings if you grab such good domains. You just need a sound SEO program and few good quality backlinks for each targeted key-phrase. I am sure that having main keyword in the top level domain always works, and i can say this firmly with my clients experience in SEO. And I advice, you should continue trying to launch such kinda long-tail key phrases domain sites for your business. Having just 1 site like this and then expecting much ROI is not a good idea. WE call this technically micro-sites launching when doing SEO for a new big project.

    It's a great stategy.

Years ago, you would build a 1-page site on that long-tail keyword domain name.

Today, with Wordpress and some authoritative links, you can build a full website and get it ranked within a month.

Use a .info to see if the keyword phrase has any traffic. That way you're not blowing $6, $7, $8 or more on a domain name only to find out Google's keyword tool is full of crap about the traffic volume.

I like "long-tailed keyword domain names" because it is easy to rank that website in major search engines, but what about other keywords. Long domain names is very tough to remember for visitor ,often visitor misspell it and you may lose your visitor.

    Here's an example...

I go to Google's Adwords Keywords Tool and do a search for recipe.

In the suggestions, I see spanish rice recipe with 49,500 monthly searches. That is more than 1500 a day! So, it looks good.

Instead of registering spanish-rice-recipe.com for $7.50 at GoDaddy, I register spanishricerecipe.info for $1.07.

As far as Google is concerned, they are the same. Next, install wordpress and name your blog spanish rice recipe. Write all your content about spanish rice recipe.

Get some good links going to it, and you will become the authority on spanish rice recipe as far as Google is concerned.

Update it twice a week and just continue to add links.

Once you start moving up the results in Google, into the Top 10, you'll know if the traffic estimate from Adwords was correct, or not. If not, you only spent $1.07 rather than $7.49.
