Hi I want to get started with social media and go with Facebook first. The issue is how should I register. I'm only interested in social media in terms of driving extra traffic to my blog, I've got no interest whatsoever in using it personally. I've read Facebook's info and they pretty much tell you that everything is public - even if you make it private it'll be public if someone else shares it. Obviously I want that for my content or links to my blog but I don't want that for my personal info. I only want to promote the blog, not me so I don't really want my name displayed, just a name similar to the blog. I saw there's pages you can create for celebrities and businesses etc. but you cam seed details until you've registered. Would this be more appropriate? What's the best route go? I'm not a business yet but I hope to monetize the site in due course. If you register as a business do you have to input a load more information? Apologies if the questions a bit obvious to some. I've never used social media before and want to start right. Do the same privacy issues occur with other social media or only Facebook? Appreciate any comments Thanks
