Hello folks I have a some questions about some domain extensions,and i think will be interesting for everyone here Example if i have one domain which is very popular and that domain name, is PR 6. Now if i have same name example on biz,org,info etc. then with some good backlinks i will be on first page,where is a main domain who have already PR 6. Now i want to know one very important question,i think you will understand me what i want to ask you. Ok let's say that i want to have site(niche)about web design,and is totally different from main domain with PR6,what will happen then? I mean if i am on first page (under the main domain) then i will easy have high PR(example 3-4) and with that result people will find me easy who looking for web design on Google is that true? Ok i will have visitors on first page for main domain example for games, but did i will have visitors who looking about web design because PR for my website will be big,because of main domain who is first on first page who is already PR 6. Main question is: Did my website will be famous in web design if i reach PR 5,( in web design because i have tags only for web design and posts) not to count first page where i am for main domain content? Or i will be only famous on that first page for that domain with PR6 (famous domain) Please if you not understand my questions ask me again i will try to explain you better. Sincerely
Page Rank doesn't really mean that you will be famous and all. I mean it does gives you that popularity but I think what you are targeting is more towards traffic. Certain sites may have high traffic but doesn't mean will have high PR.
