Registering Domains

    if say i want to buy Meads123.com and it is not availible would it be worth registering Meads-123.com ? would the - have any affect on the site etc?

    people remembering the url or should i opt for a .org withoput a hyphon

    People would tend to forget the hyphen when they mention the site to other people.
    Preferbly it's best to have a domain without a hyphen and especially if there is a similar one out there without a hyphen.

    Go with the .org ;)

    I would go with a .org in this circumstance aswell.

    With the example given above, your going for a brandable domain, which loses its marketability with the hyphen, becoming unbrandable, if if you can make some sense of that :)
