Hi, I'd love to get some feedback from people who have registered on eBay as sellers very recently. What kind of identity or any other checking you needed to pass and how? What if a person has a verified Paypal account?
well i dont think you need anything to signup ( identity wise ) you just need to input your paypal link if you want to accept paypal as a payment method
I'm not completely sure, but I've heard that you have to scan your driver's license or register a credit card if your email doesn't offer verification (like AOL used to). Shouldn't need much though.
I think you always needed a credit card with eBay to cover the fees. I registered several years ago and you needed a credit card back then too.
As far as I can remember you can register with a valid landline phone number. They will call you straight back and give you a pin number (ID). You also have to provide either your CC details or your bank account info. If you use your bank account they will deposit some small amount into it (like 10 or 20c) and you have to type the exact figure into your eBay account to verify. I might be wrong but I think that's the procedure they used 12 months ago.
