Recently a lot of people have been switching from GoDaddy to NameCheap and HostGator, so that might be your best bet for domain names and hosting. Also, the pricing is relatively cheap for NameCheap/HostGator compared to GoDaddy, so it's a win-win! All the best. -LeadBoltMatt
I got a package from a local hosting company but if you want international transaction good you choose Go Daddy. Then you may choose Hostgator as your web host.
GoDaddy is very good, but it also depends on the extensiveness of your sites and what you need. I've seen some reviews where GoDaddy couldn't handle large amounts of information/sites, but if you are only doing one simple site you should be fine. Best of luck to you! -LeadBoltMatt
