One thing I learned a year ago is that saying applies...until you draw the line.

With what's happening at Registerfly, unfortunately they have little incentive
(if any at all) to render any assistance at all. However, I've read of a few who
managed to get through their phone support and finally get their domains out
    with their help.

After trying myself I have found that many of those customers who are being left spend their time swearing the registrar, posting in forums, but not being aware that Registerfly setup an area to handle this request.

If they would contact this area, they woudl be provided with both codes and unlocking time ago. Codes are provided in less than 24 hours along with domain unlocking, except for biz domains that should wait up to 5 days to reflect the authorization code in your control panel due to Neulevel's administrative procedure, as Registerfly said.

Yes, people are surrendering because they are posting in the general support area, but from that point they will be able to see there is a new aggregated department in which people are indeed working and answering these requests.

I figured I'd post an update on the situation:

    http://blog.icann.org/?p=83

In a nutshell, Registerfly has challenged ICANN's action. So they'll retain their
registrar accreditation for an additional 30 days.

Expect more teeth-gnashing, especially from people who only care of getting
results. But that's to be expected, given the severity of this problem.

That is exactly what this thread is all about, if you refer back to my first post, ICANN's blog update was reproduced here too ;)

Quick update, MyDomain does NOT accept Paypal payments at present. I've been in contact with them in regards to a recent bulk purchase and they said they had to remove the PP payment option because of the problems they were facing with that. That's sad.

Not so sad, I just transferred 5 domains away a couple of days ago and in the last step prior checkout I was presented with three options:

    1. Pay with credit card on your profile
    2. Add new credit card to pay
    3. Pay with Paypal

I chose Paypal as payment method and my order was immediately processed by Paypal's gateway being a successful transaction :)

See? I'm lucky at Registerfly and also at MyDomain, LOL

Heh, need some tips on how I can get that lucky, too ;)

I think Paypal is unavailable for new registrations at MyDomain, and may be still available on some purchases like renewals, have not tested that myself though.

Maybe for the benefit of the others, you might want to repeat the step by step on how they can contact the special area to get their Auth Code. It would definitely benefit the others here.

A new thread about this would definitely be helpful.

Contact Kevin Medina's lawyer directly, I would suggest contacting the entire firm, because my complaints were emailed directly to Kevin Medina. Kevin's personal lawyer Eugenie F. Temmler won't help you, but if you contact all the lawyers at once that will get your problems forwarded directly to Kevin Medina CEO of Registerfly (Scumbag)

I made it simple to just cut and paste in to your email program. This firm wants to represent this idiot then they can help the thousands of victims.
