Hold on a sec - are you looking at the 'transfer domain' section in the RF control panel by any chance?

I don't think their system is updating properly, from complaints I've read.
Are you sure that it is not just trying to renew, or get you to transfer back?

If you have control of the domain at the new registrar, I'd say that you are through with Registrfly, and shouldn't have any problems ignoring them.

i have just moved a couple of domains from registerfly to godaddy.

paid only to godaddy and nothing to registerfly.

all i had to do at registerfly was to change unlock the account and copy the authority codes.
thats all no charges for that.

    I'll try that...
    Isn't this nice?
They changed the whois info to someone at regfly, with the email and organization registerfly.com.
    Bloody thieves.

I think people might be entering the domains they want to transfer inside RegisterFly.. thats not correct. You only enter the domain names in GoDaddy. You only need register fly to unLock your domain, remove ProtectFly and get your registration codes.

Do a whois on the domain and see what's happened to it.

Dude, that totally and utterly sucks!

Registerfly will never be missed. They've permanently tarnished the reputation of the company through mediochre (at best) customer service.

i think you paid to transfer a domain to registerfly not from them you should only have to pay the new company that u want to register the domain with!
    from what i know!
    but i could be wrong!
Registerfly is a lil fishy so no telling what they try to get you to do!
call godaddy they will help you!
    i got faith in them!
they have alwasy solved my problems!

I think registerfly will come back to his position again. It has really done a good job and should be workful back. CEO movement is running from few days already as some blogs also reported like that. But waiting to hear some good.

And yes when I was trying to renew a domain I couldnt. I paid twice and then had to pay enom for the registration to get it out of registerfly.
I also had auto renew set up a while back and they didnt renew 2 of my domains yet charged my card.

Their support isnt going to work. The old CEO was deleting the tickets in bulk lol. Now I highly doubt they can afford to pay for staff what with the lawsuit by icann and all.

Check the whois and if you see enom as the registrar make sure and take a screen shot of your account at registerfly and then visit registerflies.com and follow the instructions.

Quick announcement. John and Glenn have re-gained control of Registerfly and the site is currently down due to them moving it over to the new server. So this domain name successfully transferred away from Kevin Medina and is now under full control of John and Glenn along with Mark Klein. Glenn couldn't talk long because they were on their way to a meeting with the FBI. That's the news.

I put in a ticket about whether I should move them (and how) from Enom to Registerfly. They just closed it saying, 'contact customer services'. D'oh, who is answering the tickets then?

I am actually the owner of sregan@bluebottle.com, which RegisterFly has evidently decided to use as their default admin contact (the rest of the administrative contact address isn't mine, I live in the UK). I do not work for RegisterFly nor do I have any domains with them any more.

As a result of RegisterFly's blunder I have been deluged with spam for the past year (at one point RegisterFly sent me 990 misdirected WHOIS confirmation emails in one 24-hour period). I have repeatedly demanded that RegisterFly remove my email contact from their default profile, and have been reassured that it has been done, only to find yet more misdirected transfer requests, &c in my inbox the next day. I have recorded every conversation I have had with these clowns as well as the communications people have sent me in error.

Illuminatus - if you apply a custom profile you can have the transfer request sent to your own email address. Otherwise, email me with the domain name and try re-sending the transfer request and I will forward anything I get to you.
