Registerfly files suit, can't cover registry fees

I've heard a few complaints of non-renewal throught Registerfly even after paying the fee, and there are many threads about various Registerfly problems right now.
The Register seems to have found out why:
    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/02/22/registerfly_ceo_lawsuit/
Seems that the allegation is the former CEO was partying it up and ran the corporate coffers dry.

It is gonna be a huge problem, that is what you get when you go cheap. We all just blindly trust that our domains are safe...

That is the problem. Registryfly won't give Auth codes. In the past year over 75,000 domains have expired and been lost.

    Yep.

They ignored me until mine expired, then played dumb.

Screw them and their crappy customer service. Hope the CEO gets syphilis.

Find auth (EPP) code at Registerfly:

First of all, remove the Whois protection

    Click on "Manage Domains"
Click on the domain you want to transfer
Click the + at the end of the "Domain Contact Info"
    Click configure
Scroll waaay down and look on the left

If some of you are still having problems obtaining the EPP codes and have no
luck with Registerfly's support after about 1-2 weeks, contact Mark Klein at
markATregisterflyDOTcom. Be sure to provide specifics, but give him time to
    reply.

I think it's for the transfer. Some registrars charge to transfer domains away, that's how I gave up on about 5 domains of mine :)
