I registered 60 .info names there yesterday and not one of them were purchased. I could buy them at google right now. They took my money and the domains are in my account but it's as if they just did not buy them. Go see their Google search and look at all the negative feedback:

I have also had probles with registerfly. I purchased 60 and it took 3 support tickets after they took my money to get them.

You shouldn't have looked at the prices only! :(
    Service is more important!
    Personally I only use namecheap.com (preferable) & godaddy.com.

UPDATE: As of now I have purchased my 60 domains at Godaddy 2 days after they took my money. They have yet to respond to my support ticket nor refund my money. How does ICANN allow them to continue to do this?

GoDaddy or do you mean RegisterFly? Just want to make sure.
This news might help a bit:

The offer has been expired on Jan 6, 2006. Though I don't know why you would want to register since people are running away from RegisterFly

.50 for a info is better than paying $3, anyways, now since the offer is no longer valid, ill switch over to namecheap:rolleyes:

Yeah that is true. Although, GoDaddy is having a sale of $1.99 for .info. $1.99 is better than $3 :D .info sales will probably come again sooner or later if they don't get shut down  The emails I received about for .info .50 or .60 promotions occured like 2x in one or two month I forgot.
    Good luck!

I think for Godaddys $1.99 special you have to purchase a non-domain product.

That is for any domains other than .info. .info are currently in sale for $1.99 just the domain registration, no need to purchase any nondomain product (unless you are buying other extention) :D

OK my $0.02 cents .info is don't go and register names with RegisterFly if you don't like problems but if you do they i think RegisterFly is the perfect registrar for this purpose

My problems are only with Registerfly. UPDATE: as of 7 days later. No support contact and no refund. Maybe the registerfly flew away?

    Don't ever use Registerfly

I have the same problem. On 1st Jan I registered 3 .info domain...but still now they seems to be free...I have them in my panel but I cannot change DNS.

Thier reply at second support ticket: "Usually registration takes 24 hour to be registered but due to our back end maintenance problem it not yet completed and we are sorry for this inconvenience. Hope in some time you will get your domain up for DNS change."

Works for me. DNS changed in 2 seconds. My host was the one that needed to catchup not RF. RF worked in 2 seconds.

    Thanks,
