Register With My Amazon Account, Or Create A New Account Just For Affiliate?

    I have an amazon account that I use to buy stuff, had it for a long time.. Should I create a new one for affiliate biz?

    hello..i am really sorry..i am new to this forum and my name is tanvi..and i dnt know much about this forum rules so please forgive me..actually i see on google that this forum is best for my question..actually one of my friend buys anything for anyone from amazon at 50% flat discount after shipping and all to india..so i want to ask how she do this and whats the procedure behind this..please hep me seniors and members of DP..i am reaaly thankful to you guys..

    I found it easier to just have all my Amazon activity tied into one email: Amazon, Amazon Associate & their web services. The only real downfall that I could imagine, if it even is one, is that you'll get recommendations on Amazon for products that you view logged in as an affiliate. I even sometimes get emails from Amazon about specials on products I promote but am not interested in buying myself. Other than that, everything is treated as separate, but you get the benefit of not having to use multiple logins to access different parts of their services.

    Actually, another "con" could be that because all of your Amazon accounts are tied to one email, if that email were compromised, it could be more problematic for you potentially being locked out of everything. Still, I think it's easier, personally.
