I precisely want the exact keywords keyword1keyword2.com/.org/.info Knowing that there are benefits to aged domains, i would prefer to buy one. However, i've tried sending emails to the registeria to no avail. So do you think i should go ahead and register keyword1S-keyword2.com? Or the benefits of an aged domain matter so much that i should continue to search for my desired aged domain name. 1) Try to go for the aged domain Or 2) Just register a new one, since i can only wait 1 month.
In my opinion, the aged domain could give you some advantage over a new one. But it should be under these criteria 1. The domain should have a history itself. If domain has used as a parking page and never promoted or has any themed content related to the theme you prefer then the value will almost equal to a new one. 2. The domain must not have a bad history. If the domains has used as link farming, cloaking or others blackhat stuff including used scraped content from the other sites then you must avoid. Hope this help
If it's old and has a good history you will have to PAY! Go for a new one it will be a lot less hassle.
I would echo the same thing (new domain), or at least check the history of the domain. The problem is, sometimes you will discover problems only once you have registered it. For example, EduPhil.org, which I am using for the Education in the Philippines Forum, is blocked in China - and one of my avid supporters is working there.
If new old domain have good history and it is on keywords based then you can purchase old otherwise book new domain with your preferred keyword.
If the history of the domain is clear, then go for old domain name. Google and other search engines show more respect for aged domains.
Old old old old old There are many obvious benefits in choosing an old domain. If you register new, you spend a year (sometimes less) in a sandbox. End of the story. Those who say it's not true are stale strawberry desserts. However, it depends. Make sure the old domain you buy still has pages indexed by Google AND Yahoo backlinks. Otherwise you can buy a 10-year old domain that will still spend a year in a sandbox because it has been inactive for its whole life. Then, if I was given a choice: 1) A new domain sweetshort.com OR 2) Old domain ugly-hyphenated-load-of-rubbish.com I would go for the new one if I was serious about my business. So, you see, it is all relative. Just weigh all the pros and cons
NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW If you buy an old domain, which already has traffic you wont hav much fun...but if u buy a NEW one and then promote, you can be glad that all the hardwork and money was UR's!!!!
