Regional Keywords

    Hi,

    Not sure if this is a stupid question or not.

    I've recently taken on a few sites who want to focus on there local area in the UK so their keywords go something like "Birmingham keyword", "Keyword West Midlands", "Birmingham keyword keyword" etc etc.

    Is there something extra that i can or should do to help this rank better or is it exactly the same as SEO'ing a normal site?

    normally, adding region in key-phrase [ "Birmingham keyword", "Keyword West Midlands", "Birmingham keyword keyword" etc etc. ] are not so competitive, So I don't think you have faced any SERP problem, Only put few thing in mind:

    1) Add Region in your Anchor text key-phrase (back link Anchor text)
    2) also if possible put that in your title too, but it not so important.
