Hi All i have a few question i have launched a auction site for my area where i live as they is a market in this area for an auction site and the surrounding area. My question is this i have kept my original site design same as BidUp.org and placed it on my new auction site is this a good idea as i want to keep the design nice and simple without making it mind boggling to the user. The site is hxxp://www.biduptoday.co.uk My main concern is it good or bad to have an identical site with same layout and colour the reason why i ask is that i will be linking the regional site to my global site and want my users to feel that the site is the same on both sites with navigation etc
I think its good. Amd well Regional is what I was going to ask you for. P.S I have got (well won) two things on Bigup.org, so im SO FAR a happy customer!
Put UK on the logo, tweak the content slightly to target, you might as well have it pulling in slightly different keyword, so you will get a better overview too.
