    I want to know how we can promote a website that offers its online services in other countries other than that they are residing it?
    Consider a example that i am Australian based personnel, run my services from here but give services to peoples of UK. Then how i do SEO of my website.

    If for example you're specifically targeting the UK market, then you would register a .co.uk because that way you would get favorable treatment on Google UK.

    In your webmaster tool set the location to your target place.
    link your site to other website in on your target market.
    Lastly, use domain extension based on your target location like .co.uk .com.au etc

    • Generate bundle of high-quality local backlinks that country you wish to target.
    • Do maximum local business directory on high domain authority websites.
    • Search which social media site is most popular in the specific country.
    • Join local groups on social media sites.
    • Join local business communities and try to engage the with local people.
    • Do participate in high-quality question answer websites.
    • Update your blog page on a regular basis and target local audience.
    • Target long tail keywords.
    • Search at least five competitors and follow their activities and try to make your strategies accordingly.
    • Do comment posting on local and relevant blogs.

    It depend on your niche . yes for my personal experience in uk . when my keywords was on 2nd page then i prefer to web2.0 and guest posts and social signals , i am still number 1 position....
    But before this , yes i do local listing, if you verify you business in google 50% chance your site will rank very fast . which keyword you are targeting put it with variation ,for example "best seo company in uk " yo can see 2 to 3 keywords are hidden in this longtain kw .
    Get idea and scrap links your competitors , there you can find also local listing very good repute ... for more please ask me freely thank you
