The first one. Unless it is is must and necessary then only go for deep structure otherwise goo with simple like the first one.

Absolutely the 2nd one which is shorter and easy to navigate.

URLs should be clear what the page is about, that helps the search engines decide what the page is.

The second is obviously the home page, simple. The second could be anything, and the URL gives absolutely no clues. I imagine it's probably the home page in English, but there's no real way of know.

The most used and recommended URL form for referring to your home page http://www.example.com and http://www.example.com. Very deeper pages are not likely to be indexed by google if not properly optimized. In the SEO point of view, you can use the ones mentioned above while building links to your home page. Hope this helped.

Depends on what each is about. If you had a site about dogs, and wanted to rank dogs.com for a keyword "dogs", then you go with the URL of the homepage. If you had a page on the same site about Puppies, and wanted to rank it for "puppies" keyword, then you might want to go for dogs.com/puppies as URL.
