Not that I know of. A single webpage can have one paragraph for a meta DES. i would not recommand "playing" with it too much, as this aspect has some importance in SE's eyes.

A page should have only one description meta tag and should consist of no more than 25-30 words which accurately describe the sites goods or service.

beside the fact that meta description is more of a marketing text than any technical seo thing, keep it short and effective and think about something that will nmake user choose your link over your competitors on serps...

...however you might think about dynamic content and adding a different description tag according to the SE query: playing around with php and mysql I'm sure you'll get something :D

Searchengines limit the amount of characters in the description and it's difficult to get more than one description. You can make you description longer, but it won't show in the SERPs, they'll cut of the description.

If what your page is about cannot be summed up in 1-2 sentences of 145-150 characters maximum then you are doing something terribly wrong. Each page on your site should be targeting a single keyword phrase (maybe 2-3 phrases if they are very closely related and almost the same).
