Regarding Infractions

I received an infraction today for supposedly posting "Sent you a PM" in the following thread:

My questions are:

1. I don't see any post in there of mine. Could it have been deleted by a mod?
2. How far back are you going on these infractions? I ask, because if I did post that in that thread then it was over 3 weeks ago.
3. I also got an infraction about 2 weeks ago that was for something that was over a month ago along the same lines on not posting about sending someone a PM in a thread.

So I've learned not to do that, but yet I'm still receiving infractions after 3 weeks and 4 weeks of postings. Is this normal?

There's no statute of limitations on infractions...moderators don't dig for them, but apply them as they see them. If we are working from reported posts, they could be older or newer.
