Regarding Google Goal

    Hello all,

Few days back I started using Google Goal for my website. I have an inquiry form on my website which I want to use in Google Goal URL destination. I targeted the same URL. The thing is if it shows 4 Goals completed in a day then I should receive those all 4 inquiries but sometime it doesn't happen.
Today it is showing 1 Goal completed but I haven't received any inquiry.

What is the reason behind this?

I think you should create "Thank you" page which should appear after the visitor fills all requirement fields in inquiry page and submit it. And include that "Thank You" page to set your goal in Analytics. I think that way will get more accurate result.

You've targeted the wrong URL that's why its not showing the right result. You have to take thank you page url as a goal URL destination. Go to your site, fulfill your form and then you will be directed to thank you page (if created). Now you have to use this url as a Goal URL destination.

To get more accurate results include "Thank You" page in your goal in analytics.
