Regarding godaddy hosting emails

    Hi I need to send automatic emails regularly with the php function. Does godaddy hosting premium 6.90 plan offer this? Why am i offered to ask to upgrade my email with additional 19.90 a year when i try to buy their plan? If I do not upgrade my email, can i still send automatic emails using php?
