    Hello Everyone,

If I have my domain with .in extension is it difficult for me to promote my website globally.

No. Web promotion really depends upon how much effort you put into it, domain extension does not matter at all.

No, yahoo has the indian site as yahoo.in. Promotion is not a problem. .com,.in., co are all cool sites. Now, to
promote your site, the simplest route is google adwords if you can afford it. I personally believe
that it's impossible for one to understand everything in a short span of time.
So while, you concentrate on maximising your returns and relevant business details, let google take care of
    promoting your site.

    All the best

The answer depends on what your website is about. If your content is based locally, regionally or nationally or it relates to a local service that may trigger a Google places result then it is more difficult to rank for globally. If it a global site with nothing specifically nationally focussed then you should be ok with the right promotion. at least that what I have found here in the UK with both my global and local sites.

    No.
Promoting your site globally depends on the site content, traffic tools that you use.
Be it .in,.com etc is not a problem. The only place where you may not get results is if a guy searches for
results based in UK, your site won't come in the search results as it's an indian site.

    All the best

No it doesn't matter, the content really matters and how much you put efforts to build traffic.
