Daily I will use the Laptop(Compaq) for 16 hours of time.

If plugin the Laptop will take the power from Baterry or Direct Power?

Using Plugin power with Battery , Is battery life will decrease or no problem?

If plugged in then removing battery from laptop is good method(for stablled battery life) or bad?

If plugged in power and pc is running then removing/attaching the battery will be problem or no problem?

If battery is fully charged then I will switch off the power supply and use the battery. When 90% down the battery charge then again I will do the power on? What is your suggestions on this?

    Waiting for your kind replies.

It is best to always have the battery plugged in - charge it right up, once it is full, unplug from the mains and let it run out - plug power cable back in and charge it right up then yet again let it run out. This will build up the battery life. When plugged in the power should charge the battery and then the laptop should be using power from the battery. If you want to remove the battery I suggest turning the laptop off first.

If it's compaq I guess you will soon find problem with battery, for sure! I too have compaq and battery started experiencing problem in more than 9 months. It now gives no more than 30 minutes back up even if fully charged. its battery decreases in a normal range and when it comes to 60 % remaining, you will never know when the laptop will shut down. In fact, whole compaq thing is frustrating. At least, I had a worst time with this.

I agree that to for battery to have a longer life it has to have its full charge and discharge cycle completely.

but I am just thinking that laptop batteries these time are better these time :)
