Hi. I'm thinking of buying a few domains under a shared hosting plan and building them up. The purpose of these websites would be to provide backlinks and traffic to my main site. What I'm wondering is, since this 'network' of sites will be under the same hosting plan, would their Class-C IP's be the same. And if so, can this negatively affect my website? P.S - Also there is a website which has quite a few backlinks pointing to my site due to my articles, however it seems to be a malicious site according to Google. Is there any way I can negate the effects of those backlinks? Thanks.
I understand your problem and it all depends on your hosting package. Some web hosting only offers one IP address for your hosting others offer multiple ones. Although I do not see any negative effects if Google does see they all share the same IP. Now on the malicious backlinks side, you really cannot do anything about them since it is impossible to remove a link from the internet permanently. On the other hand in the future make sure your backlinks are coming from high PR websites (at least 1 or more), to Google this makes your site look more trustworthy! Although I am not certain were your articles are posted sometimes Google gets things wrong and they may not continued to be marked "malicious". Thanks!
I will oppose a bit to MTG. Having backlinks from malicious sites can seriously hurt you (it is not so bad if they are only a couple) so you should that site owner and ask him kindly to remove them. Regarding links from sites of the same IP - Google again might hurt you if it would see that you are trying to trick it by linking to you from the same sites all over, or in standard case it would just discount the value. Also it is not only about IPs, if they look the same link to each other, usually quite apparent it is just the same owner. Maybe it does not work for your niche, but I would use those other sites as support sites and engage in link exchanges with relevant site - you would give link from support sites and ask for link to your main site, if it is mutually beneficial, it could work.
what is the different between to shared hosting and other hosting services and why we are take some priority Class IP Hosting? How to act it and how taken on search engine?
If you're having 10 sites on the same Class-C that systematically link to your "main site" it will probably won't help you that much.
