Hi friends, I have submit url into directories. Some approved my links but when i check backlink. The backlink tool don't show my back links on directories where my website url placed. Only shows 7 links. Any Idea?
Just needs time for spidering. Directory links are hardly worth any juice anymore, try some blog commenting and see if those show after a week or two.
As long as you don't do just bookmarking it's a decent addition, but always pass it through a third party like a squidoo lense or hubpages article
Even, i have the same issue as per desprateboy, i have a submitted my site to multiple directories and recently i done social bookmark as well but still the site is not got enough back links as posted to directories and social bookmarks. Any one have any idea, pls share with me.

You links have to be cached by google or other search engines inorder to show up there However, I never stick with directory submissions. It usually takes a lot of time....
I don't think the backlinks from directories is only going to benefit you, you should try to get more backlinks from other relevant source.
When you do the backlink check at Goggle, it just displays a very small subset of actual backlinks. If you sign up with Goggle Webmaster tool, in a week or two, you go check your backlink at Google Webmaster tool, it will show you a bigger subset (even then not all) of backlinks.
What you will find is almost NO link directory links are counted by the SE's anymore, because of their inherent lack of value
Directory Submission is a kind of link-building. Sp dont stick on that only. Try to do Social Bookmarking, Article Submission, etc.. Wait for sometimes to allow Google Indexing for getting backliks to your site from Directories..
I think your have submitted your website in good web directories but, may be you have submitted your website in directory's main category or may be your have submitted not related categories of directories Please be confirmed that you r submitting your site in good related category and not submitting in main category of directory that may be the main point of less approval of directory links Thanks always welcome
It will take time to index your link in google or any other SEs. The possibility of crawling rate is high for domain and first level folder. In directories you will choose your right category and the link should be in second level folder which has less crawling rate by spiders. For ex: www.google.com & www.Google.com/category/ which got more crawl rate. where as your submitted URL will be in www.google.com/category/categoty2 which is less crawl rate will take time to get indexed. And thats why the featured links are there will be always in first level folder I hope you understood the concept.
usually backlink checkers update their links after 2 to 3 weeks. It also takes time to get the links indexed in google. (not every link you submit to a directory gets indexed as a backlink). It will take time to show up indexed links and backlink checkers track these links after quite weeks
If you are backlinks you should go for link building with hi PR website coz hi PR website catch in every 2 days. if you got your link there than offcorse your link would be catch & it will be count as a back link..
Hello Friends, There is no problem with you . This is a normal . Please check those sites which have approved your link and those are cached by Google when directories site will cached by Google then they will show as your back links
