Regarding "Allowed Sites" tab

    Question: What is best one to choose?

    Allow any site to show ads for my account
    or
    Only allow certain sites to show ads for my account

    Most people goes with the default "Show Ads Everywhere". It really doesnt matter, unless you see any chance somebody try to get you banned.

    I use "allow any site", as it brings more competition to the keywords, and potentially higher CPM.

    Wrong answer. Allow any sites means any site can display ads from your adsense pub id. This means I can show ads in my site, with your pub id and credit all clicks amount to your account. But this has a potential danger of someone trying to ban you.

    So you can use 'Allowed sites only' and gotta give the links where you display ads. Or else your amount will go in vain :)

    Well, I don't know what to think, mluther . . . but as mentioned a little while ago in this thread, I did change mine to "allow any site" and now see my "page CTR" is now almost (not quite) at 3%.
    I say this is phenomenal because previously it's raraely climbed above 1%. What causes this? Curious (????)
