hi friends I have a blog that was recently penalised by google whose pagerank dropped from PR3 to PR0.

    http://healthytraveller.blogspot.com

I would like to know whether it is possible to regain my PR. Can someone give some tips for recovery?

It depends on Google's Alogarithms. May be you messed up with them and were penalised. Checkout in Google Webmaster Tools, were you penalised or it was just normal pagerank sculpting...

You may have been penalized. If you traded too many reciprocal links too fast that would cause it.

Link schemes - Webmasters/Site owners Help
If you didn't do this then think of what you've done, change it, fix it, whatever you have to do. Then wait it out and things will go back. Sometimes it takes two PR updates before you can get it back.

You were penalized for selling links. Remove all your links and then submit a reconsideration via webmaster tools and promise never to do it again. If you don't want to remove your paid links, then live with the PR0.

There's your answer. Once you've removed them, your PR should come after 1 or 2 pagerank updates.

You need to remove any out-bound links. Outbound links are main reason google penalize sites.

As they have said, try removing the paid links. Usually, this does the trick.

It's highly unlikely, just see it as a lesson learned.

If you are doing anything that may have caused this problem: like if you are selling dofollow links, then you should first solve the issue [remove links or put nofollow tag] and then submit a reconsideration request in GWT.

If you are not selling links, and you think that there is nothing wrong with your site, then I guess you should not worry about anything. PR can increase or decrease anytime. One of my site's PR decreased to 0 from 3 and then moved to PR 1 and then after sometime, it came back to PR3. In all this time, I did nothing special: I did what I always do and the PR came back itself.

LOL Good luck with that! If you didn't get a message in your Google WMT account, then you will never be told for sure what you've done wrong and/or whether you've "really" been penalized.

Google wants to keep you on your toes. Anonymous penalties generally make webmasters fix everything that is wrong about the site before submitting a reconsideration request rather than just fixing the one thing Google already knows about.

You have to consult with Google administrator and review the reason for banned in ur website and start the link building for improving the page rank of any website.
