    Hi,

Im UK based and i want to buy a service from a US company.

Its a livechat hosted software solution which allows me to talk direct online to my clients.
All of the software is hosted on the providers server.

I have asked them for a trial and they wont allow me.

If i take up the service and the service turns out to be very poor how or what can i do to get a refund?

They tell me i will get a refund if the service is not what im expecting but im a little concerened.

A few months back the company had a lot of complaints about this service and a lot of there clients requested refunds and im not sure how they got on?

The software company have assured me the service has now been restored?

what should i do before i take on the service ?

Print out a copy of the money back guarantee page.

Be sure to read all the fine print about refunds. May want to print this also.

    Pay with a credit card.

Request your refund if not pleased and do a chargeback if you have to.

UK laws may be different but US law is real clear on this issue. If the seller fails to meet the terms of sale the chargeback is virtually automatic. The burden of proof is always on the seller.
