I observed this for the first time, for many products I saw this refund rate: Is this mean that every 100 who buy the product, 97 of them get their money back? And if yes, is this worth the effort of building a website and getting traffic?
No, it means that 97% of the purchases for that product were referred by affiliates. Refd is short for referred, not refunds. Meaning 97% of the sales were made by affiliates, while the other 3% were direct purchases, meaning the customer purchased without having an affiliatel link attached to his purchases.
I lol'd. Spirit Walker and asking that question? I assume you don't do much affiliate marketing / CB? The refd% is the reffered percentage, for example if 100 sales come to the site and the refd% is 97 that means that 97 of the sales were affiliated by CB affiliates and 3 sales were actually made by the vendor pushing their own product.
ÙActually I do, but I observed a very high refund rate "about %75" in the last week, this is what force me to know the refund rate of products I'm promoting. I thought that this information in the picture above belongs to the refund rate. So, where to know the refund rate for a product?
How about a quick search on google? This is what I found - http://cbhelper.com/refund-calculator.html
If you guys really want to know the refund rate of any clickbank products go to cb-tracker.com/products/( insert name of clickbank vendor ).php It is on the left hand panel of sales info.
I have tried some of the 'refund calculators' on some of my products. The refund rates are very inaccurate, not even close to the real percentage.
Yeah, refund rates will always be fluctulant and never have a set percentage. Ideally if you want to calculate an average the best way is to get the information straight from the vendor however there is quite a chance they'll cover up the "real" refund rate if quite large
