I bought a hosting plan from hostgator a few day ago but after few days later for some reasons i asked for refund . Well , within 24 hours they also issued this refund to my paypal account , its on 1 APR 2011 and paypal has also refunded the money to my credit card successfully on same day . but i am not seeing any transaction from Hostgator or paypal regarding refund in my creditcard statement. Today is 3 APR so can anyone tell me , how many days it generally takes to see such transition to credit card. thanks and i am a indian paypal user.
It normally takes 3-4 days to show in a cheque account but can take up to 6 working days to show on a credit card refund. You've got the Paypal transacion ID for the refund so if it doesn't show on your credit card statement after a few more days then follow up with Paypal.
Well, great that you have received your money back and is also showing up in your credit card. However to me it takes atleast 7-10 business days to reflect any refund money in the credit card. You are lucky you got it sooner
