Referrals vs. normal ad blocks

Has anyone used referrals with any success? I replaced a normal AdSense block with referrals recently, but no one seems to click on them, and there are hardly any products related to several of my sites (none for fonts, for example).

I suggest NO for using referrals in place of normal ads.

Yah - if you can find a referral that relates to what your website readers need, you can do well. The free referrals (like Firefox) are easy because ..they're free. The paid ones are tougher to convert because your readers will have to dish-out some cash..
