I want to create a product and actuall "pay" money for the referral instead of crediting the customer account.

    I want to pay monthly.

Is the web interface referral field only functional for crediting ther referrar's account?

    How should I do this?

You would want to set it up as a salesperson commission.

Is there any way to make all new customers in a particular class all salesmen?

No, you can't have customers be salespeople (without setting them up as salespeople).

    Thanks.

It looks like the best work-around will be to print reports, gather the referrals, print checks, and post them as a debit to the referring party's account.

    This will work.

    Thanks.
