Referral link promotion using PPC?

    I've been thinking about using PPC advertising to promote my referral link to a writing site that I've been working on for a while now. Is this a good idea?

    And if so, are there any cheap alternatives to Adsense that use paypal and work really well?

    Yes, i think you can. Using Advertising network to promote your affiliate link work and if you want the cheapest, you can use bidvertiser, clicksor, adbrite as their ppc is so low. So you can get much benefit from them

    I have been experimenting with this using CPV networks as the traffic is so cheap. You can target your ads pretty well, especially in a niche like 'writing'

    You can also use Yahoo search marketing as an alternative to Google/adwords
