Referral ads vs. regular ads,

my Referal ads' CTR has gone up dramatically since I found out what people like to click, but there is no convertion. But this creates a big problem my regular ads' CTR has gone down from 3% to as little as .71%. Should I take off these referal ads? or should I leave them on and see who'd actually sign up.... Because these referal ads are really hurting the earngings over past week, I've gotten over 268 clicks and barely 3 sign ups which gives me 3 dollars.... thats barely 2 cents per click

You should definitely go for things that convert and in your case it's PPC.
Don't try to put more ads on your website, because more ads doesn't mean more profit.

If you have tested them for a few days and it doesn't work, remove them and keep the ads which you know you will get paid for.If you receive many clicks but not many conversions you have to try something else.

    teste them for 2 weeks.

no convertion? keep them outside and stay with what convertes well.

and yes, you can create some new sites just for referrals...

Well if they are getting clicks then your best option will be to get the regular ads in the hot spots and the referrals in the less clickable areas. in that way you will get your clicks on ads back and the referrals will also be there.

    thanks

don't you think adsense should pay us like 10% of a normal bid on those keywords on referral? this is another reason i don't understand clickbank, its simply not generating any revenue

Take of referrals as only 1 out of 100 usually converts for any referral (general stat)

so it would be better to take hurtings since it's also hurting your earnings...

How much do you get for PPC and how much do you get for a conversion?

If something is not working for you need to see why it's not working as you wanted. You need to check things like Placement, type of ad, colours, etc try to make changes and if it still doesn't work then you need to look for a change or just replace the referral ads with normal ads.

20 cents to 50 cents, I can get higher ones with different content but then I might get banned because pictures arent really related to what the site offers

Don't use referral ads unless you are seeing great conversions
