I was wondering if this means the number of my sales I can expect to NOT get or that people will request a refund for. Seems awful high to me. Can someone explain what this means?

    Thanks,

REF% is the % of total sales made by affiliates.

Open the marketplace page, and click on "Rankings FAQ", a bit lower the searching toolbar.

    Here's what it says:

%Referred: Fraction of publisher's total sales that are referred by affiliates.

    Micantor-
Many people would agree that a high referred percentage is a good thing. This shows that affiliates who are pushing traffic to an offer are having success. The only thing you don't know is if the referred sales come from one super affiliate or a group of smaller affiliates. Either way, it still confirms that the sales page is converting for someone outside of the publisher.

i.e 78% = out of 100 transactions - 78 have been affiliate sales (again there are exceptions to the rule however this is the basic translation).
