    css? No I don't think it can be done from css or div tag. Its will work only if present in meta tag or in href tag. nowhere else.

    the no follow tags are always checked, i always see that before submitting to directories!
    but then, wiki, stubmle etc, as all nofollow! and most other social bookmarking sites will go no follow with time.

    but then we can't say the no follow will work with all the search engines or not! but then google sure understand this tag!:rolleyes:

    Yes, but what you can do with css is create invisible links so if you're buying a link on a page and you only see 3 outbounds - a tricky person could theoretically have 100's of outbound links invisible on the page - another reason to use spider simulators.

    I do not believe anything other then <A REL=NOFOLLOW HREF=... is considered acceptable by Google and MSN (the two whom follow NOFOLLOW).
