Hello, I had several banners designed for a Google PPC Remarketing campaign. They were are designed using Photoshop. How can I reduce the file size? Google will only accept a file size of 50KB of less. Many thanks!, Dave
Reduce it from "save for the web and device" in the time of saving, select color bit and reduce noise.
Assuming that you are still in need of assistance..... Go to Image > Image Size......and then just adjust the pixels.....I think this will also decrease you file size.
file -> save for the web and then you can play with settings to reduce file size. mostly jpg and png-8 / gif work for compressing images. jpg is for photos (images with photos) and gif and png-8 is more for little graphics where you can save bits by reducing the number of colors. So it works well when you have for instance a white background with just text, then you can reduce the colors to 16. Also works best for small images.
While you are saving it ask you to set quality.Try to reduce the size there.Even not working, try save it for web devices ,there is lot of options you can reduce the size of image.
