Reduce Private Messages Spam on DP

Hi!
Every couple of days I get a Spam private message on DP. Just got another one now.

I have a suggestion how to stop this, I don't know how easily it can be integrated in this standard forum platform, but here it is:

Add a "report spam" button to the message display page:
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/private.php?do=showpm&pmid=xxxxx

Once certain user is reported as spammer by 2-3-4 users in, say, 24hrs, his account is banned temporarily until a mod can have a look at it. But more importantly, all the spam messages he sent are immediately deleted and do not bother other members.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. We must make do with the tools we have. Please forward spam to a moderator.
