    Hi All,

Recently I changed the complete design and content of my website. There are a lot of pages which are doing well on search engines, which I dont want to loose. So, let me know the ways of redirecting my old pages to the new pages without loosing SERP positions. Also, will there be boost to my new page SERP due to this redirection?

The next question is this - Can I redirect multiple pages to a single web page? Since some of my pages talks somewhat on the same service, so can I redirect all those pages(around 10) to the same product page?

    Appreciate any response...

anytime you do a 301 redirection, you risk losing the SERP rank as well as some (not all) pagerank. you just need to plan a proper link building campaign before doing the redirection so that the impact on SERP ranking is minimal.

about your second question, yes you can do that. you just need to setup each page redirection suing one line at a time on your htaccess file.

Yes, you can redirect multiple pages to same page.
With 301 redirect, your rankings will dwindle temporarily but after some time, these pages will retain their original position. So, go for 301 redirect.
One tip, set up page to page redirect, its hassle free practice.

You need to setup with 301 redirect, as this would be a permanent redirection for the webpages. Else the same page with different URLs leads to the canonicalization issue.
