    Hi,
I am having a site xyz.com which has PR4 and I am currently building another site abc.com on the same topic(actually the latter site is much better in terms of looks and content).

Now I want to redirect people from xyz.com to abc.com which shouldn't be difficult but I also want the page rank to transfer to the new domain ? is it possible. Also my domain xyz.com is at the top on msn. If I use redirection, than will I loose the positions ? Which is the best way of doing this redirection ?

    Regards

You can use 302 redirection. This will redirect your PR too, but first on next PR update, of course. Before you do it, remove the content from previous site, because the penality from SEs is possible (duplicate content).

Why 302? Sounds like this is a permanent redirect, which means you should use a 301. 302 redirects have caused problems for search engines in the past.
