Redirecting Question

    Hi,

My host suspended me and I'm currently looking for a new host. in the mean time, I'm thinking about redirecting the domain to my other site temporarily so the visitors will have something to see instead of a "This account has been suspended". If I redirect to another site temporarily will google remove the PR of the site? What's the worst that could happen?

    Thanks

    Hi,

do you have space available elsewhere?
if yes, put your files there, make your dns point to that host.

If you redirect your site to totally different one, google is going to take the content from the other site only. Your PR, ranking everything is going to suffer.

If your site doesn't use any dynamic scripting languages like asp, php etc, try putting your files in some free hosts like 50webs temporarily til you get one for you. You can set your dns point to 50webs once you transfer files there.
