Redirecting organic traffic to acquisition page

We are thinking about redirecting traffic coming in from organic search traffic to our acquisiton landing page instead of our domain homepage.

All other traffic such as direct type-in or non-search engine would go the the regular homepage.

We have great SEO rankings for some competitive keywords so I wanted to know if anyone was aware if this would hurt our SERPs

What exactly do you mean by redirecting? Not server or javascript redirect, no? Otherwise I would not recommend you.

Yeah, we are looking at using some javascript to examine the referring domain(& keyword term) for the visitor to our hompeage and if the visitor is coming from say...google.com+keyword123... we will redirect to our acquisition page vs. our index.htm page.

I have been searching and haven't been able to find anyone using this. Also I wonder if this can be accomplished using .htaccess?

Cloak it(black hat) but it works.
Use a NEW pro software and i emphasise new cos google always seems to be one step ahead and you don't want to do with competitive keywords because tyour competitiors will report you
