redirecting in CL

I am new to CJ. I found a product I like that I am confident will not get flagged by users as an affiliate and have not been so far. I am using an autoposter for 5-6 cities and the ads seem to be sticking. The original ads had the CJ link and CL ghost blocked the ads so I am redirecting through my domain (.info) directly through the godaddy referral domain controls.

How am I doing? Should I change this setup in any way?

Dont post your affiliate link directly to cl. A friend had that done and cj picked up on it after a while. Post your domain

No. It's against CJ's terms, as well as Craigslist, so somebody's bound to figure it out...

I doubt I'm the first one who tried it. Can somebody shed light on how they would figure it out?

For one your doing an instant redirect. If I were you I would change that to post just the url on cl and then have your site set up so any visitor that goes there has to click a ebay link. An instant redirect will def be noticed.

It's really easy to figure out what path a redirect takes, especially with a meta refresh redirect. Even if you do a php or htaccess redirect, it's still possible to see that you're using an affiliate link. All it takes is one person at CL to report it to CJ. Also, CJ sees all traffic referrers. If you use a meta redirect, they'll flag you for masking your referrers, and demand explanations.

No... I'm saying no matter how you do it, it's still traceable as an affiliate link, from which CL can report to CJ, from which CJ can find out where your traffic is from. With htaccess, CJ will definitely see craigslist traffic and yank commission.

Basically, what I'm saying is DON'T DO IT, as you stand the chance to lose all commissions earned, and even get banned from CJ.

is HT access any better than a redirect from a domain registrar like godaddy? Why did you suggest it then?

I have never seen in the CJ TOS that CL is banned. You may have to indicate it in the special provisions for a program, where do they disallow it?
