Ok, Problem: Whenever i go to google.com i get automatically redirected to "google.de" since i am in Germany. The problem is...i am looking for "webmaster forums" or similiar and always get the german results...which i dont want. The funny thing is i already had it redirected once working ok, in my hosts file, since i just added an US Google-IP in the hosts file so "google.com" and "www.google.com" went right to the google in the states and NOT the german one. This is all still active...and when i ping google.com i actually get the right IPs of the english google in the states. But since a few days i cannot reach the US google.com anymore from the browser....no matter what i do, also settings in my router etc...i ALWAYS end up with a redirect to "google.de" and i need the INTL one. Anyone an idea ? Thanks.
Click on "Preferences" next to the search box and set interface language to English. That should do the trick.
go to the startpage and click google.com (or use the ncr link). it is one of the 'benefits' of google.
