Redirecting Blog Posts To main page

    I would like to redirect (301) my short and irrelevant posts to my blog's home page.How it will affect on SEO ??

    If this post has no backlinks, has no age or any other SEO value then it won't do anything. If this page has PR and some really good backlinks then it is worth to try this 301 redirect. But I believe that there won't be any significant ranking improvement, but it is still good for experiment

    Should be okay.

    I redesigned my site and anything that was removed, I simply redirected it to my search page.

    Seems to have worked okay.

    Since Panda is playing now ,I want to remove my older posts which has less quality and short .Do you believe its good for me?

    Solved my home button to redirect to my WordPress blog. It was very irritating, I mean I am preparing a big step to step guide on how to create a website with all proper SEO in mind. I do not really need my start button to be redirected to my last post.

    What is the purpose of that redirect? If you think those post are not so relevant to your blog, create another blog and move those posts there.
